 VISIT OUR DIGITAL LIBRARY

We hold digital copies of many local history journals, booklets and associated publications, relevant to North Mayo - West Sligo. We are now adding these publications to our new digital library just opened in July 2021.

The publications are made available in digital form courtesy of our partners; Mayo County Library, Mayo GAA, various national schools in Co. Mayo and Co. Sligo and from private collections. Under our agreements with them, the documents may only be viewed online - please contact the repository where the original document is held to obtain a hard-copy or consult the original.

This library was designed, built and populated thanks to the funding support of the Oweninny WindFarm Construction fund and Oweninny WindFarm Community Fund and administered by Mayo County Council. St Cormac’s Society also thanks the several participants under Mayo North-East Rural Social Scheme and Tús – Community Work Placement Initiative, who carried out the difficult work of scanning the individual pages of these publications to create the documents showcased in our library.
